Varsha Bakshani is an author, illustrator, and UX designer. She studied art, writing, and design at NYU and children’s book illustration at the School of Visual Arts. She has extensive experience in coding, web design, teaching and UX. She has held lead interaction design roles at companies such as Google and Microsoft. From 2011-2018, she founded Ojas Yoga, a yoga school based in Edgewater, NJ. In 2025, she self-published two children’s books about yoga philosophy and teachings for young audiences. She was born in Montreal to Sindhi parents, and now lives near New York City with two kids where she continues to work as a designer, author and illustrator.
